Vintage 2007 - Classic style.

A high altitude Malbec with more density and structure than juiciness. Still young and a safe bet to hold for a couple more years at least.

This is the way Malbec should be. Good balance and body. Great fruit and complexity.

Gauchos Montar!

v14. Very nice. Sharp, smoke meat nose. Juicy, deep, black cherry and blackberry fruit. Full, dry, slightly tight and chalky, mocha and dried herb finish.

Drinking very well. Smooth. Few tannins. Very nice.

Outstanding Malbec. Classic rich Malbec. Well balanced. Velvety mouthfeel. Excellent QPR.

I recently picked this up off of Last Bottle. Really nicely developed Malbec. Classic old style Malbec. I imagine the rough edges will smooth out with more time in the bottle. (Not sure why the photo came out with such a squatty bottle).
