Rebula Goriška Brda Ribolla Gialla
Bright but deep salmon orange in color. Abundant nose of orange rind and terra cotta. Firm acidity supports the medium palate of orange rind, pottery, and brown spices. Soft tannins on the lengthy finish. A classic “orange” wine that’s a perfect foil for heavier “white wine” foods. Roasted chicken, mushroom risotto, game fowl, and root vegetables would compliment nicely. Drink by 2024.

My first taste of the 2013, May 7 2015. Always somehow simultaneously the same and different, from taste to taste and night to night. But always amazing. Sort of fresh at this point, but widens in the glass and I can't wait to watch it grow over the years.
