Fruit is from the Rocks District near Walla Walla. Aromas of dill pickles, caramel, black currant and dark cherry. Same flavors as above with hints of tar, black pepper, smoked meat and tobacco. Hint of dark chocolate on the finish. Balanced acidity and long finish. Dark purple color. Nice! Revisited in October 2020. Still Outstanding! Revisited again in May 2023. Aging gracefully! Revisited again in December 2023. Excellent!! Revisited again in July 2026. Color has lightened a bit. Flavors and texture still quite complex and plush.
