67% Cab 33% Syrah. Nose- Opening a can of tennis 🎾. Forest floor, tobacco leaf ,spices, plums, black olives. Edit- After a good decanting it blossomed. Drink them up in the next 3/5 years.

Nice wine but tasted a little harsh. Surprising sharp edges for a 07. I would think it would have calmed down and better integrated. Not as good as the 05 for instance. Still a nice and enjoyable wine.

Looking for a big red to pair with leftover Beef Short Ribs, the dark, inky purple '07 K Vintners Cab/Syrah Blend 'Ovide - en Cerise Vineyard' was an obvious choice. Fantastic earthy nose of blackberry, plum, smoked meats and bittersweet chocolate followed by plush dark fruit and spice flavors. Fully-integrated and lavishly layered mouthfeel preceded the long penetrating finish. Awesome meal even on the second go-around.

Plums and apricot, very dark- almost rusty brown. Easy drinking!
