The 2022 Viognier K Art Den Hoed is spicy in the glass, wafting up with exotic florals, lime and young peach. It’s nearly glycerol in feel, with saline minerals and zesty acidity to balance. Sour citrus offsets ripe pit fruits. This tapers off spicy with medium-length and dried apricot notes. $20.00 (Eric Guido, Vinous, August 2023)

Little funky off the top but it blows off to a beautiful peach herbal honey style loveliness.

Fruit is from the Yakima Valley. On the nose, nice yellow lilies, jasime, notes of honey, banana peel, peach, apricot and delicate soft minerality. The body is oily & a touch waxy, honeycomb, banana peel inside, peach, melon, guava apricot and delicate soft minerality & yellow lilies, jasime.

Easy drinking despite the 14.5% alc. Ripe pears and peach skin but not overly fruity, weighty, or viscous. A really elegant wine.

Quite the aromatics on this wine! Honeysuckle, lychee, elderflower, pineapple, guava, toasty oak, and vanilla. Palate is layered, crisp, yet creamy, with plenty of acid and oak that develop on the lengthy finish.

14' K Vintners Art Den Hoed Vioginer. Full of peach skins, pear, melon, stone. Unlike the Alban… It's lacking a little pepper/spices. Great value and a lot more approachable in it's youth. Would absolutely purchase it again.

K Vintners Art Den Hoed Viognier 14' On the nose I get floral, perfume. The palate is lengthy & full of pear, peach skins. What I enjoy about this… honeydew melon/citrusy/stone lingers slightly on the back of your throat. 30 seconds on the finish. Great value wine!

Lychee everywhere, honey, not much fruit or floral on nose. Pear dominates the fruit on palate, abv doesn't show, not much acidity, fairly oily in texture, not a smooth mouthfeel.
