Ruby with aromas of red fruits and spicy notes. On the palate flavors of cherry and raspberry with notes of herb spice and oak. Fine tannins, long finish ending with great integration of fruit and spice, drinking well now.

Fine, fruity with sweet grape candies, a bit of smoke on the palate. Good amount of acidity and tannins. Lively.

Delicious for village level, especially with a low country boil that includes step five sausage.

Muted nose, rustic style, earth and spice. This wine should be paired with flannel and a fire. I’m never going camping (again), but if I were I would bring this wine.

2016 Justin Girdarn Pommard. 100% Pinot Noir. Pommard comes from three sites, “Les Vignots, “Les Cras,” and “Les Cote.” Côte de Beaune.

Vibrant ruby . Nice red cherry edged , hedgerow fruit, nice ripeness , inviting . Red cherry , mineral , lovely acidity , ripe tannin. Very impressive length. Very nicely judged village Pommard. Young still but gives a lot of enjoyment at the moment .
