Quite light ruby , garnet With a wide garnet rim . This is quite earthy, with some dried mushroom , red currant , light raspberry , sous bois notes . On the palate this is also quite small boned , with fine tannins , quite high acidity . Light red currant , raspberry and herbal hints , slightly earthy metallic note as well . Ok , slightly short herbal tinged red currant finish . Just misses a bit more mid palate , a little stuffing . Ready , should be drunk over the next few years, wouldn’t leave this too much longer .

On the palate quite light and red fruit focused . Nice refreshing acidity , tannin is a bit rustic and drying , some sweet fruit on the slightly short finish . This is unlikely to improve, drink now and over the next 5 years

Jun 24th, 2023Light ruby red , moving to a wide garnet rim . Lots of red fruits on the nose , nice elegant , feminine , floral also . In the mouth , more strawberry , red cherry and raspberry fruits , a good dash of acidity keeps the wine in balance . The tannin is pretty ripe and already integrated. Very good length, nicely judged. A rewarding wine for drinking now and over the next 3 years or so.

Eh not loving this. It’s alright. Got that herbal/spice thing on both the nose and palate but just not as refined as the Givry I had a couple weeks ago. Tart red fruits, grippy, kinda rough. That may be a bit harsh though. It’s good. Just at $27 I’m probably going elsewhere next time.
