I like this a lot. Boisterous nose features bright, spiced apple, loads of clean crushed stone minerals. Lively as all get-out in the mouth, with zingy appley fruit and stony gravelly notes. Great acids. And it was quite modestly priced!

2 bottles a few months apart, quite different in profile. The first one is aromatic and full, the second a little thin and little aroma. $27.

Aug 23rd, 2023Light golden in colour and unmistakably Alsatian in the nose with orchard apples & Mirabelle plums and a summer meadow. But there’s also an intriguing whiff of exotic. On the palate this starts quite broad but quickly focuses around a core of juicy, mineral acidity. Seems off-dry but is definitely dry.
This has depth & precision beyond the spicy, rich fruit + good length, too.
