Terrific Riesling. Still bright and youthful but very approachable. Nose is zesty with appley fruit, cracked stone minerality, and the faintest bit of petrol. Fruity but bone dry on the palate, with great acids and a minerally finish. Delicious.

Sep 17th, 2026I like this a lot. Boisterous nose features bright, spiced apple, loads of clean crushed stone minerals. Lively as all get-out in the mouth, with zingy appley fruit and stony gravelly notes. Great acids. And it was quite modestly priced!

2 bottles a few months apart, quite different in profile. The first one is aromatic and full, the second a little thin and little aroma. $27.

Aug 23rd, 2023Light golden in colour and unmistakably Alsatian in the nose with orchard apples & Mirabelle plums and a summer meadow. But there’s also an intriguing whiff of exotic. On the palate this starts quite broad but quickly focuses around a core of juicy, mineral acidity. Seems off-dry but is definitely dry.
This has depth & precision beyond the spicy, rich fruit + good length, too.
