Beaujolais Gamay

The next great one...

I like this wine most people wouldn’t it’s funky kinda primary sorta almost spritzy some bergamot/earl grey tones. Gamay is awesome and how varied it can be.

The kind of wine that proves Beaujolais is anything but common. Smells like a box of crushed cranberry chalk drizzled with strawberry balsamic (I actually have strawberry balsamic! It's a thing!) and tastes like tart, cherry-plum bubblegum. Fast and fun, but graceful and stylish; a Holly Golightly.

Precoucious, wet leafs among light red forest berries.

Dense fruit yet light on the palate. Fortuitous forward but has some minerality and spice that give some volume. Some of the best Beaujolais out there. Oh and the label is fun!

Börjar med en otrevlig doft av blöt wellpapp, men efter nån timmes vädring blir det trevligare. Ljust och lätt, något som 11% skvallrar om. Blomstervatten, té, örter, jordgubbssaft... det är gott, lätt och elegant i stilen, men jag förstår inte var hajpen och prissättningen kommer ifrån. Visserligen enklaste sorten hon gör, men det kräver sitt specifika tillfälle.

For the money....I vote metras or dutraive. This was only slightly above the standard in the category.
