Grounded California Cabernet Sauvignon

Ruby color with aromas of dark fruits and herb notes. On the palate flavors of blackberry and black cherry, with notes of herb pepper, cedar and cinnamon notes. Fine grippy tannins, medium finish ending with fruit and spice. Pass!

2019 vintage. Very light colour for Cabernet Sauvignon. A little rubbery on the nose. Medium-bodied, simple fruit, spicy finish.

Freebie from the salon event. Very nice.

This wine is dry, light in color for a cab. Aromas of red fruit, cherry and plum, and herbal notes. Medium+ body, medium acidity, high alcohol 14%. Flavors are of cherry and plum, herbs, mint,and lavender. Medium+ finish. Medium tannins.
Nicely balanced wine. Bordeaux blend of 85.5% cab with a little merlot, petit verdot, and petite sirah.

More complex on pallet than nose. Great value. Velvety in mouth. Blackberry syrup, chocolate covered cherry , raspberry, licorice, molasses

This wine was served at a crab feast fundraiser event. I thought it was a palatable cab and would indulge again. Simple and not offensive.
