I don't know if my palate has changed or if the quality of Josh has changed, but I used to like this wine quite a bit and now not so much. Seems very thin, unexpressive and most of all so typical. Oaky, fruity, a little chalky pepper in the mid palate I like before it ends more suddenly than a Coen Brothers film.

Very acidic, spicy on the nose, not very oaky. The problem is the finish, to many berry notes, not balanced, and not smooth as the bottle described.

Fruit forward. Red cherry, ripe strawberry and cranberry.cinnamon and nutmeg. Sweet tobacco and a bit of violet. M acid, body and tannin. Not overly oaked. Easy drinking. Good value.

Deep red with aromas of black fruits and heavy spice. On the palate plum and black cherry flavors with pepper and Asian spice on an acidic frame. Strong harsh tannins on medium finish ending with oaky notes. Not my style, for a few $$ more try their North Coast, much better. Tasting Sample.

This has really lost something. I honestly used to like this wine. It's like light, water down cranberry juice cocktail.

Sweeter than I normally like, but it has nice finish. A must with meat and cheese plate
