Estate Grown Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

I hate to tell y'all but the 2011's are good young. Drink'em people. Dark red fruit with a late summer smokiness. Lively oak and tannins are determined and focused.

Beautiful ripe black fruit plush tannins, peppery, hint of herbaceousness and green, silky tannins

Fantastic wine but will get better with some aging.

Exactly what one would expect

Big Phelps fan since 1978. This 11 year old bottle is a home run! I’m impressed with how well this is holding up and not getting the old wine funk.

Having this just in time. I might have enjoyed this more one year ago. I generally prefer my CA reds on the younger side. Long time Phelps fan.
