Happy New Year! 🎊🎈🎆
Another Costco win here. Really excellent vintage Brut for the price point.
Slightly bruised, green & red apple, Bosc pear, grapefruit, lime, lemon, pineapple juice, malt, cream, ginger ale, tropical green & yellow melons, white spice, delicate; chalk, limestone, volcanics, bread dough, nice yeastiness, spring floral bouquet, jasmine, soft yet crispy acidity, well; balanced, structure, knitted and evenly & excellently polished finish lasts two-minutes.

Slight oxidization, drinking beautifully. With oysters for NYD 😉

Wine not right 😜 I spotted this Jospeh Perrier Cuvée Royal 2002 Champagne on special at Dan Murphy’s and couldn’t resist.
I’d say it’s definitely at its peak this one (probably why it was on special). However it still kicked off our night on a good note 😜
Fun fact: Jospeh Perrier was once a favourite of HRH Queen Victoria, and is symbolised by the royal seal adorning each bottle.
In the glass it’s definitely showing it’s age as it has a nice golden colour to it. Cooked fruit spiked with vanilla and spice cone through on the nose. While in the mouth orchard fruits dominate with a zesty grapefruit bite. Rather refreshing for a champagne of its age.
All opinions are based on my own taste buds. Wine is subjective & always evolving, so make sure you drink what you enjoy!

Medium straw color, soft delicate bubbles. Aromas of funky cheese, biscuit and Meyer lemon. Fantastic citrus flavors, pear, tropical fruits and amazing finish.
