Jus de Caillou Languedoc Red Blend

Tasty, complex Vin de France. Jammy and licorice notes. Develops in a really interesting way.

Dried red currants and a drier finish. Wonderful with steak or roast chicken.

Cherry cola wine, fizzy texture and all! Loved the zip and zest of this (lemon zest for sure), and the richness that doesn’t overwhelm. The short palate isn’t a bad thing with this kind of wine... it just makes you want more! Low tannin, low acid, juice. (Little structure, a very fun and drinkable natural wine, but beyond that that’s it. Nevertheless, delicious!)

On opening it looked fabulous and complex and extremely drinkable. Shame about the Brett that made it fall over very fast!

Fruity, black pepper and tannins with dark berries but still juicy af

Cherry and sage all day.
