98' vintage of and beautifully mysterious. Minty beef jus, cherry skin and pit, then turns darker fruited and savory/umami. Wishing for duck breast but duck liver pate will have to do for the night.

Diery sexy wine with hints of barnyard in nose shifting in the glass from vinous to cranberry to earth to sultanas round lush tastes with lively acidity and earthy finish of Burgundian slope

After about an hour, definitely espresso notes on the palate but otherwise a lovely red fruit (strawberry, cranberry) nose/palate, some mushroom/earthy forest floor, drying but not overly dry, nicely balanced with tannins that are softening but still has some punch. Not the easiest drinking burgundy but one that certainly punches above its $40 weight class. Great value!

First red burg in nearly 4 months since arriving topin Madrid... So for that reason alone it was delicious.
A solid Pinot. Juicy light red fruit, high acid and touch herbaceous.

Only 23 euro to enjoy on the Corte Inglés rooftop!

Needs another chance. Bigger, brighter, with more depth than expected, so caught a little off-guard. Bright red fruit over a deep funk (maybe? what's going on under there?). Pinot drinkability, but not a conformist.
