Joseph Drouhin
Chorey-les-Beaune Pinot Noir
I thought this was delicious for village level...bright red fruit, tart and ripe, cool menthol and damp earth with savory elements, some used french oak apparent...alot more tannin than id expect...

Sep 19th, 2020Pale ruby. Reserved aromas. Some red fruits, hints of forest floor. Subtle, as Chorey can be. Not showing as much overt ripeness as Ive seen in other appellations, including Beaujolais, in 2015.
Prett classic and nice to see at a fair price on the list at Red Ginger in Traverse City MI.
