Vieilles Vignes Arbois Ploussard

delicious. a touch richer than the Puffney's benchmark making it an interesting study in Arbois' styles. fennel, granite, dried currant.

Wanted more walnut, Sherry funk from this. Didn't get it. Still a serviceable chard.

Definitely deserves a light chill like many reds from Jura. A good funky alternative to Pinot Noir. Medium-full bodied at 13% alc. but feels much lighter.

Pomegranate, cranberry, cherry compote, orange zest, iron, white pepper, baking spices. Snapping acidity, zero tannins, light bodied, juicy texture, fruity-slightly savory finish. Aromatic and bright, best served with a slight chill.
