Tasmania Pinot Noir

A rich Pinot with lots of red fruit, some oak. This is my first taste of Tasmania and I liked it?

Having been to Tassie and seen the rugged beauty of the island, I'm excited that some of their wines are making it over to us. Kind of a cross between Oregonian tension and NZ brilliance with a kick of Sonoma power (but an unmistakeable Aussie accent).

Serious value with this one. Not the most complex, but elegant

Textbook Tasmanian Pinot. Lovely floral nose. Sweet delicious palate with sappiness. Enjoyable. 17.5+

Lively sweet fruit. Young and fresh.

Had my first Tasi Pinot noir in Melbourne in 2004. Still rivals Oregon

I once was in Australia and had one of the best Pinots ever, from Tazmania. This lives up to that experience (albeit in Toronto this time)

Reminds me of a kiwi pinot from central otago. Decent, but nothing special.

Not complex but decent mid palate of red cherry and dark fruit with savoury flavours. Good concentration. Honest and bigger in style than is typical for Tassie pinot.
