Cranberry, orange bitters and sweet cherry notes (and a heck of a stink!) make this old-vine, high-altitude volcanic soil red from Tenerife a very interesting experience.

High acidity, moderate tannin, really well poised - a tightrope of a wine that offers sweet cherry one second then searing orange zest another. The acidity carries through the finish exceptionally well, making this a wine of great balance.

Fascinating to try this alongside Wiston Estate’s 2014 Rosé, a completely different wine on paper but one that somehow shares so many characteristics with this.

Horse blanket. Musty and barnyard. LOVE IT. Light earthy herbal on palette. Super smooth finish. Make sure you chill this to 64 degrees.

Nice & light. A little on the funkier side with some smoke to it.

Carbonic and a little annoyingly new age for sure but actually still quite a nice wine. Good dark red fruit with a nice medium body and medium acid finish.

Very rich and complex with dark berries, minerality, and a hint of mushroom and earth.

Love this! A bit of Brett on opening that seems to blow off, whiffs of Black Sea salt, ash and layers on layers of tart red forest fruit. Back end has some herbal floral notes too. Light as a beam of sun.
