The color on this wilne is not nearly as deep as it is on many high-end cabs. The nose has an oaky, black currant profile. On the palate, however, the oak is very restrained and the wine is supple and plush without being overbearing. The acidity is very good and the tannins are extremely fine, making it easy to sip. The fruit character is all dark berries and cassis with hints of chocolate in the finish. A fine Cab.

Open for 6+ hours the tannins have really softened and the fruit, earth and wood have opened up to integrate nicely on the palate. Can't go wrong with this producer unless there's a dismal vintage due to weather.

Glad to say this did live up to all the hype. Ripe lush fruit and silky tannins which manage softness while maintaining structural presence. Like 007 in a tux its powerful and seductive, but retains a sense of elegance and subtlety. Gorgeous

A great cab for the price. Smooth and lingers on the back palate. I may even like it better than my 2006 cab.

I like the green, bell peppery edge to this vintage. It lent a little more character than usual to the Jordan Cab.

Attractive nose, but this seems very oaky (like caramel, not vanilla) in comparison to the older vintages. I have no doubt that this will age well though
