Pure, ripe fruit with plenty of supporting acidic structure. Very Pinot Noir like in its overall attack with more tannin presence. Briary black raspberry, licorice, sandalwood and five spice aromas with a subtle dusting of espresso and black pepper. Very open and expressive right out of the gate,
excellent tension between ripe fruit, silky texture and bright acidity.

I love this earthy, funk-adjacent Austrian pinot

Simple and delicious

Stoney, earthy, cherry, raisins. Bouncy acidity and light tannin. Very nice effort.

Great Pinot noir-y bottle, reminds us very much of the 2016 Purple Hands! Yum!

Betty gamey nose with a distant waft of violets, which explodes on the palate. Lively acidity, suggests pet but there is clearly no pet. Blueberries, bloody meat, violets and liquorice at the close. This is bonkers for the price but no surprise from the buyers at Majestic.

Luscious aromas of blackberries, black cherries, salt marshes, black pepper, and bramble reminiscent of a young Cote du Rhone with more subtle notes of baking spices and minerals that remind me of a Pinot Noir.

Holy wow!!, Batman. The nose invites perfume drenched fruit but the palate is smooth, balanced and plush. I get horse sweat infused plums with a silky finish. Someone please tell me the origins of this varietal. Feels like a cousin of Gamay. Delicious.
