Alluring, elegant, seductive PN of Tattendorf area from 15yo vines. Aged 16 months in oak.
Dark red to garnet, purplish rim.
Peculiar fragrances of rainy autumn pine forest, underbrush with profound berries content (wild strawberry, raspberry, elderberry, red currant). Whiff of vanilla.
Lean & smooth medium-bodied palate. Gentle tannins, rounded acidity. Scents of pepper, dried cherry, blackberry, smoky raspberry.
Med+ finish of forest berries.
Paired nicely my pasta with porcini under béchamel sauce.

Very nice Pinot, more traditional than modern but with some lightly noticeable oak influence, good fruit, balance and acidity.
