Notes might be off because I am tasting some big serious Provençal sausages.

I was recommended to have this a chilled some but I think having it too cold really loses some of the character. A very interesting wine. There is an interesting play of fruit and oak here. On the nose lavender plum and vanilla. On the taste a lavender note, almost a cream and dark fruit taste and a little bit of dark cherries as well as a little vanilla from oak I am assuming. Midpalate is soft. Initially I tasted quite a bit of different spices on the end but I may have blow Up my palate with the sausages for this. I am enjoying it but it's curious. I will seek out others opinions on the wine.

Now that it has warmed up a bit I can see why you want it slightly chilled. It loses some of the softness and spice at the end.
