Joh. Jos. Prüm
Zeltinger Sonnenuhr Auslese Riesling
Just brilliant. So incredibly complex and dynamic and yet joyful to drink.

Aug 10th, 2019Wow. Brilliant. A wine that changes constantly. Sappy and intense. Powerful yet lithe. So deep. Tertiary nose yet as it airs it gets younger.

Mar 4th, 2017Considering its age, this ’99 Prüm Auslese was incredibly fresh and rather elegant for a middle Mosel. Granted, it was not a Goldkapsel wine, which would definitely have been much sweeter, but many ‘99s can lack structure and seem top-heavy or flabby. Not this lovely bottle. Drinks like an opulent Spätlese with perfect balance…a perfect match with spicy Asian cuisine.

Jan 16th, 2016'99 Mosels have retained their innate elegance and finesse despite a very ripe vintage, and have turned out to be classics that will keep on going and going as long as you don't run out--HOW SAD😞

Feb 28th, 2015These classic middle #Mosels need plenty of bottle age to show their true potential...drinkable now but only going to improve with further cellaring.
