There are two types of wines: the type that runs shit and the type that eats shit. And this wine is tops.

Juicy acidity and sweeter than a typical Kabinett... intense aromas of ripe apricot and white peach, confirmed on the palate along with saline and melon

Cheesy fermentative overtones give way to a site-typical amalgam of fresh apple garlanded in honeysuckle and heliotrope. This is another of those Prüm Kabinetts that is watery in a positive sense of that word, combining watercolor-like transparency and wash of flavor with delicacy and refreshment. As with the corresponding Graacher, the finishing sense of wet stone and floral perfume is striking, and here a mouthwatering hint of salinity adds significantly to the appeal. Classic Prüm closed nose of wet wool mixed with tropical fruit. Plenty of wet match stick sulphur, always reminds me of a swirling mix of sweet papaya and shandy bass but with plenty of clear complexity to come. In the mouth it's fairly foursquare at the mo but has plenty of promise, well defined apple & lime fruit but really needs another 5-10 years in the cellar to shine

Colour: transparent, very very light in colour – almost no colour at all.
Nose: very ripe apples and honey, still quite subtle. Seems fresh to the nose, light minerality – hint of dry fruit and raisins. Touch of quince, quite complex overall but at the same time delicate and subtle.
Palate: very good balance between citrus and ripe stone fruit. Blossom flowers and hint of honey. Very light in body, very fresh and ligh and with a nice velvety texture. Perfect sweetness for this category
– not too much not too acid. Gentle.
