A rich white wine that really needs a quick decate to open up, but once it does you get pear along with curd & toast on the nose. The, partial, new French Oak aging makes this wine come across as full bodied and quite rich in style with a slightly off-dry palate bringing flavors of yellow apple, cream, toast & toffee. Overall, it could use a bit more fruit & acidity to balance out the richness, but nonetheless a delicious complimentary pairing with truffle & pancetta pasta! ($32) [8/8/22]

Big fan of Jigar Patel's wines. Small production and extremely selective of the vineyards he works with. Bright peaches and cream on the nose with hints of granny smith apple. Soft and round on the palate. Excellent value.
