Mar 15th, 2020Intense, cool-climate, lean Pinot. Needs food to soften the austerity. Superb.

Sep 26th, 2015W&S Top 100, my first time trying this too. I was 2 producers in and two new wines that I would buy whenever hit my lips.

Oct 14th, 2019Perhaps one notch more intellectually enjoyable than actually enjoyable, but good to try. A well aged Pinot noir from Champagne, specially from Bouzy. Has very little fruit - the mineral and acid notes dominate here. Not necessarily in a bad way, but this needs some food for sure or the iron-y taste can be a bit much. Very long finish, helped for sure by the acid. Interesting...but for the price I’d probably stick with Burgundy.
