Spätburgunder o (Pinot Negro) Alemán. Valle de Ahr afluente del Rhin. Viñedos en pendiente con suelos de pizarra en la parte oeste del valle, que es la más alta, donde reciben más insolación y, por consiguiente, resultando un vino más estructurado y complejo. Cata: tiene un color picota intenso. En nariz de media intensidad encontramos fruta roja, cereza y frambuesa. En boca tiene cuerpo medio, buena acidez y equilibrio con muy buena intensidad y persistencia. 25€ a 32€ aprox. Es un curiosidad

Pure, crunchy red fruit with fresh sour cherries and cranberries & a herby, undergrowth touch.
On the palate this is super fine, poised & elegant. The tannins juicy, the acidity fresh, the fruit pure. A very good wine, but lacking the complexity or depth of the ‘15.
More linear than ‘15 and slightly one dimensional.

Fresh & enticing with strawberries, red currant, a dash of cream, a pinch of herbs and some fresh, crunchy sweet cherries. The wow happens on the palate, with a beautiful tension between the juicy cranberry & red currant acidity, the finely grained, dusty tannins that coat the mouth and the purity of fragrant fruit. This has depth, precision and purity. This is drinking beautifully right now.
