Jul 22nd, 2017Smells of brown sauce, licorice, dark cherry, all coated in ammonia. Medium body, with a nice rich ruby gleam that lets the light through. Taste is raspberries, dried apricot, prune, hint of strawberry. Acidic, dry with a hint of a juicy finish. Bolder than expected. Feels like I’m eating fruit and honey cake in Germany on a cloudy day.

Light-medium body, low-acidity dark fruit on the nose, interesting on the palate for an inexpensive Rhône, licorice and lite floral notes covered with cherry and blackberry, with a refreshing and almost sweet finish.

Too light and fruity for our tastes. Had a bit of an earthy note like a warm climate Pinot noir which I dint care for. Not sure when/where we got it.
