Such rich flavor! Bright, golden rays of sunshine. Very golden. And warm. Smells of passion fruit and a waft of lilies and... sweet canned corn, slightly. Taste of nutty Parmesan, soft buttery citrus, with short finish, yet deeply memorable. Feels like in a 70s kitchen with daylight streaming through orange linen curtains, tinting everything in a glowing, textural, and serene warmth. — 6 years ago
Nice hazy orange hue. Stro g smell of lemonheads candy- kind of a dark saccharine sweet. Some scent of lily or jasmine. Taste is tart apple cider (and the look is too). Low tannins. Goes will with variety of food. Taste is more fruity and floral with a slightly blunt bitter end. Smell and taste on different wavelengths and it's wonderful. Recommend. Good buy for the vintage. — 7 years ago

Smells like a rosy ammonia, with hints of jasmine and lemon rind. And then like, a cherry flavored cough drop. Color is gorgeous kinda prune juice look? Or unfiltered cranberry juice. Taste is the most perfect strawberry jam with even more perfectly balanced deeper jammy tannins, but all feels so light, yet so satisfying. This wine definitely has that “je ne sais quoi” written all over it. Get it. — 6 years ago
Smells of brown sauce, licorice, dark cherry, all coated in ammonia. Medium body, with a nice rich ruby gleam that lets the light through. Taste is raspberries, dried apricot, prune, hint of strawberry. Acidic, dry with a hint of a juicy finish. Bolder than expected. Feels like I’m eating fruit and honey cake in Germany on a cloudy day. — 6 years ago
Too sweet for me. Effervescent but loses kick easily. Longish finish. Tastes like an upscale version of Barefoot Pinot Grigio. — 7 years ago
This wine really does need to open up for a minute for its full personality to shine. And it’s worth it. Smells pungently of ammonia, vinegar, and warm strawberry filling. Full bodied, but tastes medium bodied. Salty, jammy, juicy, with a lovely finish on the back of the palate that is a gentle burnt caramel. It’s both zippy, glow glou, yet soft and memorable. Touches of cranberry juice, feels like I’m in that Ocean Spray logo, within an ocean of cranberry juice. Very well rounded wine. Would buy again. — 6 years ago
Color is a peachy blush, like Cover Girl from the 90s. Very slight orange tint. I’m drinking this a day old, so fragrance isn’t so pungent: smells like outdoor seating at a white tablecloth restaurant with white flowers, with an elegant woman sitting two seats behind you wearing Crepe de Chine or Amal Goutal— something classic. Also has an undercurrent of Lemonheads (chemical citrus) smell as well. Taste is surprising, not acidic but still dry/not sweet— caramel-like, with peachy strawberry taste and a short finish. Kind of has the taste of a merlot inhabiting a rose. It’s really nice. I often don’t like rose because it’s too sweet or too dry or always somehow tastes too similar... but this one was special. Perhaps one of my faves of the summer. — 6 years ago
Fruit forward with a blunt bitter earthy leathery mid palate note, and short finish. Fragrance smells like plum, dark berries, and jammy, with some hint of musk and... blood orange? Reminds me of a Spanish boudoir in the late 19th century— dark red lace and black jewels worn perfume bottles around, something good cooking on the stove downstairs, and the whole thing is a little dangerous. — 7 years ago

Super delicious fancy with the slightest effervescence and funk to make it distinctive while still mindlessly enjoyable. — 6 years ago
