Vieilles Vignes Bourgogne Blanc Chardonnay

Love fichet and this was my first experience with their Bourgogne blanc. Plays with their big boy mersaults for sure.
Would be interested to see which vineyards / parcels go into this puppy. Damn good!

Nose has crushed flint, sliced lemon, mild oak notes, ripe white peach and toasted Italian bread.

Palate has creamy (ripe) tropical fruits, medium oak, dried lemon with medium acidity.

Declassified Meursault? In a nice spot, but probably suggest drinking the 14's on this bottle in the next few years 2023-25.

Mini Meursault. Peaches and spice. Pretty tasty but better later.

Pure, clear and chiseled style. Salty lemon curd, white peach with a hint of toasted hazelnut. Very fresh with with bright fruit and shimmering minerality.

1.5L Magnum

Punches above its weight class, especially in a small, tight glass.

This wine is really developing nicely. Drink up!

Not bad but not singing

Always a fun little finisher to the evening, excellent for the price.
