Really nice at 5 years. A little funk, a little green. Deliciously juicy mid palate.

Brilliant deep ruby - quite dark for gamay. Lovely spice, violet, red flowers, cranberry, raspberry liqueur and a nice earthy, forest floor note. This wine has surprisingly vibrant acidity and soft tannins - good with food and probably even better in a year. I made salmon with a soy, ginger and orange glaze and it was a terrific match

Cloudy raspberry color that’s so intriguing. On the nose it’s crisp pomegranate, raspberry, and cranberry with subtle notes of smoke and dusty herbs. In the mouth the fruit is snappy and pure, with a pretty crushed rock mineral streak. High acid with sneaky tannic grip on the impressively long finish. Delicate, while remaining structured, and beautifully pure.

Plan is to drink a bunch of Beaujolais for the holidays after a fun visit with @Todd Abrams at Elie Wine. This is number one. Lavender smoke and oh so good. 🤓

This wine made our dinner (the food was average but the wine stellar). A little luscious with depth. Tart cherry notes.

Feminine red and black fruits with stemmy green notes and perfumed flowers and herbs. Concentrated berry flavors on the palette. Extremely well made - fresh nuanced gamay without any bubble gum banana (which I also do enjoy). This is a seriously well made Burgundian style wine.

Tastes like bright raspberries and cherries, mineral notes, and subtle spices. Tastes like how post-Thanksgiving meal feels, warm and fuzzy. Perfect Beaujolais.
