Heres the funk I am looking for! Wet wool hits you in the face, while underripe green pear, beeswax, jalapeño skin, and crushed macadamia and bitter almond add a lovely nutty element. Richer mouthfeel with m+ body for a Sancerre, it's palate coating and gives off great texture. The acidity is not the typical punch that I'm used to but it finishes elegant and well rounded. Not your typical Sancerre but really lovely none the less.

Nose and palate are near identical. Definitely driven by chalky soil and minerality, as it shows from start to finish here. Citrus is present, but this wine lacks the wildness and freshness that I look for.
