With Lauren in the city, good, easy drinking — 3 years ago
Needed 2 hours to open up. Raspberry, cranberry fruit. Tart. Kind of deep pitched for a Burgundy. Not much in the way of tannins. Others on Cellartracker called this delicate. This bottle wasn’t at least compared to the 2013 Jean Tardy Gevrey Chambertin Champerrier I posted on just prior to this one. — 3 years ago
A perfect sushi wine. $28 as a SommSelect choice. 2nd time around. Can’t be beat for the price. Decant 30 minutes. — 7 years ago
This was good! Nice minerality. Slightly fruity. Solid wine. — a year ago
Just delicious on this outrageously hot evening. Pristinely pure strawberry and cherry fruit on the nose, with a fair whack of crushed rock. Crisp and flavorful in the mouth, with good intensity and freshness. Good acids and an attractive micro-note of bitterness at the tail end. IMHO, well-made Sancerre rose is the pinnacle of rose. — 10 months ago
Nice Sancerre inviting scents of grapefruit and mint, unfortunately lacking a bit of complexity, acidity and length to bring it to another level — 6 years ago
Pale lemon color.
Aromas of green apple, lemon, mineral.
Dry. Flavors of green apple, mineral. Zesty! Great acidity.

Doing the typical “Two sides of the Loire” comparative tasting.
Muted on the nose with shy green grass & nettle + starts showing a very interesting waxy note after some time. More vivid on the palate, though still defined rather by its acidic structure than fruit. Ripe gooseberries, green apples and the grass again. Finishes off with an austere flinty, slightly steely note.
Not bad but quite far from what Sancerre is capable of. — 5 years ago

2021 vintage. Medium-medium heavy body. Fleshy. Durty nose. Chunky and slightly unresolved but I think I can fix it and be happy. Good punch throughout. Under $30 USD resto cost which is increasingly holy grail for CDP rouge or blanc these daze. 04.23.25. — 6 days ago
