"Le Haut des Champs" Bourgogne Chardonnay

This Wine is so good for the money : Classic bourgogne blanc : Apples, hay, rocks and prettiness! I had it with this delicious cabbage soup from six seasons highly recommend! 

The label is a bit chintzy, but this is high quality stuff for a good price. From Chassagne-Montrachet in Côte de Beaune. Clean unoaked Chardonnay full of preserved lemon peel and crisp minerality. Medium-bodied, 13% abv.

Non-reductive style

This is Chardonnay. Tasty except for some bitterness on the finish. Maybe picked too late or too long on lees or maybe the oak regimen used.

Terrific. Fresh and crisp. Modest complexity. Very enjoyable.

Tasty. Better as it warms up. Has a creaminess to it. Excellent QPR.
