Réserve Côte du Py Morgon Gamay

This bottle felt a little flat. Not sure if it is age or this specific bottle.
Red and a hint of black fruits. Still some structure but feeling a bit unbalanced toward sharpness.
Lots of sediment.

Still tight as nails. Will be great in 5+ years!

Needed some time to open up, but this is awesome

Awesome nose of boiled leather. Earthy and brambly on the palate with lots of crunch.

Black cherries and turmeric in conversation.

Because turkey and gamay make way too much sense together. #themoreyouknow

My 4th, group 5th, this was very similar to the 2008 Morgon VV, I thought it showed a tad more richness and complexity, and after sitting in the glass for 2-3 hours picked up depth and structure, but I doubt will ever be great, but for me better than the 2008 VV!!
