Les Vignes de Lantignié Beaujolais Villages Gamay

Can’t remember when I had a’Villages’ but this vintners Cru are such good Qprs thought worth a 17$ whirl. For 3bucks more methinks the Cru is worth the stretch. Black currant, light sour patch candy, medium acidity all nicely done here

Burgaud delivers again for under 20. Load up.

Medium ruby color. Aromas of red and black berries, rose petals and smoke. Palate is more blackberry focused with interesting additions such as black licorice and fresh herbs. Nice mineral note on the medium-plus finish. I did not detect any evidence of oak aging. Lively acidity and quite supple. Medium bodied and very complex. Well made.

Sour black and blue fruit with a healthy amount of barnyard on the nose. I love this producer. Best Bojo Village I have ever had.

Not as delightful as remembered! Fairly astringent on the front, but brings lushness later.
