Big, round, powerful. Crazy long finish.

Good, but not great. Lacks the depth that I would expect for a Grand Cru. Excellent QPR, however.

2011 vintage. Les Preuses. I had this at Brocard only a few weeks ago. At the time, I rated it relatively poorly among a line up of 10+ wines from this winery. I was given a bottle by the domaine and had it this evening. Wow. It's bloody good. Very mineral, complex, concentrated and long. Lemon and pineapple fruit profile, steel and chalk. Medium golden hue hints at oak maturation. Some reduction on the nose that is appealing to me. The astringent finish I detected at the domaine is not as present on this bottle. The acidity is medium plus. I would happily recommend this wine to someone. Very good indeed.

Camomile nose and best served at 15 deg C. Dried fruit. Located on right bank facing lots of sun and on steep slope. Well balanced and lots of mineral as you drink more of it.

2011 vintage. Les Clos grand cru. Mineral, citrus, grapefruit, classic. On palate, good concentration, bright clean fruit and sour apple profile. Good finish.
