Jean-Jacques Auchère
Sancerre Sauvignon Blanc
Pale lemon with aromas of rich stone and citrus fruits. On the palate of this simple wine flavors of apple, peach and citrus grapefruit with big acidity throwing off the balance a bit. Medium finish, ending with citrus and mineral character, noting slight alcohol burn.

Jul 5th, 20212019 Vintage - really nice for my friends that think I spend too much money on wine - I submit this wine - about the same price as NZ Sauvignon Blanc but really nice - last Vintage was a little low on acidity but this vintage is solid and inexpensive- really like it for the price

Possibly a riper vintage for the Loire. Went excellent with our pork and mushroom rice bowls with pickled cucumbers, diced carrots and seared broccolini. A nice contrast to a savory meal.
