Wow. So mineral and pretty. So many seashells and a huge dash of iodine. Smells like there is a ton of material there. Palate is ripe but less ripe than a 17 Lechet with insane salinity and great freshness. Long. Really good acidity and has more acid than a 17 Lechet from Monday and less gras. This is so Chablis. Really compact and just so well made. Showing brilliantly.

Had a note. It’s gone. This is drinking out of its mind. Perfect balance of tension, zip and fat.

Nose has sauteed lemon with honey, Mediterranean sea breeze, lemon pith, warmed green apple slice, washed strawberries and new hay.

Palate has green apple, yellow apple, dried lemon zest, under-ripe strawberry and (light) limestone The acidity is below our expectations in comparison to shoulder vintages, still a solid wine in any vintage.

Better than most premier crus out there. Incredibly bright nose, powdered limestone, broth, crisp apple, mown straw. In the mouth it’s so fresh, exhibiting a minerality so forceful it’s got a tinge of bitterness (in a good way). Lengthy, crunchy finish.

A brilliant value and brilliant bottle of Chablis. Wide open. What a nose. Deep mineral. Lime pith. Airy. Saline. Seashells. Palate is nervous and tensile with great purity and texture. Almost no fruit. Salty. Good structure and acidity. Such snap, sap and length on this wine. Amazingly well made. Easily 1er Cru quality. So juicy, so dense, so pure. Brilliant.

Love this bottling. Seashells, lime zest, lemon curd, citrus zest and pith, so nice. Sweet and sappy with lovely mineral expression and so pure. Juicy and so clean with great ripeness and compactness. Long and persistent. Complex already. Finishes firmly mineral.

Really fine for a ‘15. Intensely seashell and brothy nose, with straw-shot apple fruit. Intense flavors show tons of Chablis minerality and none of the flabbiness that lesser examples of this vintage show. Lowish acid but still very nice for short term drinking.

Brilliant wine. Seashells, seashore and even some Sally. Mineral but also sweet lime pith. White flowers as well. Palate has loads of acidity but also very clean fruit and salinity for days. Long and super refined on the finish. In a great place.

Wonderful "basic" Chablis - good minerality, a hint of lemon and Oyster shell. Crisp acidity but some elegant roundness as well

2014 Chablis...So Good!

Initially a little cold, it displayed an interesting nose of creamed honey and lemon. Now that it's warming we're smelling fresh lemon ground down in a mortar and pestle, that vibrant citrus aroma from flesh and pith combined with abundant minerality.

The palate is full of great minerality, day old cut lemon, under-ripe white peach, green apple with a sprinkle of salt. $23, value delivered!
