Vieilles Vignes Brouilly Gamay

Bright, fruity and floral. Good tannic pull. Liked it very much.

Complex red fruit, bananas, granite, whisper of oak spice, kitsch. Well made.

Had with vietnamese rolls; nice light but unexceptional Brouilly; light sweet cherries and minerality.

Beautiful aroma on the nose. Like putting your nose to the soil in Beaujolais and taking a big whiff. Or perhaps gaining access to a musty cellar, smelling the cold damp concrete and rotted cedar beams. Light body and smooth finish properly highlight what I would consider the best smelling wine I’ve ever sniffed.

Temporis. Perfect red - medium bodied chocolate cherry notes.

Lively red fruits with hints of tropical stone fruits coming through. Juicy acidity. Delish!

Super fun. Funky but zippy.

Good fruit. Earthy and juicy. A bit simple, but versatile with food. Lived long in the bottle. You need to let it breathe. I do like Lapalu and enjoyed this wine. But I do think his other named Broully is better.
