An ok Morgon. Medium Ruby with aromas of ripe red fruits. On the palate juicy cherry and strawberry flavors with slight blossom notes. Medium tannins, ok acidity and balance, medium finish drink now just about at it’s prime.

An old standby.. the 12 isn't as complex as the 11, but still possesses the classic gamey Gamay flair with some raspberry, cedar, and pretty tannins.. always a great bottle for $12. Severely under priced.

Jan 29th, 20162011. Very complex for such a low price point. Earth, pencil lead, raspberry on the nose with an underripe plummy character, big tannin that rounds out in the mouth and a savory rooibos tea-like finish. Great drink for $12.

Nice translucent cherry red, aromas of red fruits- strawberries and cherries with a rose water hint. Smooth, light and delicious.

Domaine des versauds Morgan 2011. Not well versed in cru Beaujolais so wasn't sure what to expect... this was a nice surprise! The structure and fruit were both awesome, and it even had a nice savory component. Finish was a bit short, was the only thing, but I'd say a steal at under $20.
