When in LA I like to visit the wine house right next to the 405. They have 30 wines to taste. Fantastic Kabinett. Bone dry, Green Apples, Pears and surprisingly Kirsch eau de vie. Excellent but pricy 34$

Lots of green apple, almost cider, but cut with grass and petrol. More reminiscent of Alsace that Germany.
