15’ Jax Y3 Chardonnay. Much better than Jax Dutton Ranch Chardonnay. This one is not a heavyweight ...much more balanced then the more expensive Dutton Ranch. And at $13 dollars 👍

Sourced from an Andy Beckstoffer vineyard in Carneros and made by Kirk Venge. Mineral driven, but with a wild honey infusion. Crisp and perfectly ripe apple, crushed rock, lemongrass, and orange blossom, with a citrus tinge. Superb value. Anything but Chardonnay, my ass.

The aromatic nose was a good mix of citrus and tropical fruits and light toast. Wondered if I chilled it a bit too much in a hot day, but the palate was crisp and refreshing with medium to high acidity. Not much oak influence noticed. Simple but delicious.

Great Napa Chardonnay for under $30...nice fruit acidity balance..Medium body..touch of honey...not quite as good as the 2014...yet still very nice!! 2015 vintage

Very crisp with a refreshing acidity. Develops a bit as it warms and takes on some additional complexity. I like these Y3 wines. Goes nicely with the stir fry.

2015 - Delicate but luscious bouquet, great body and medium slightly citrus finish; worth revisiting as this could be the next everyday Chard.
