Didn't really like this wine much. Too strong, too purple, not balanced on the palate. Also there was a lot of residue at the bottom of the bottle. — 7 years ago
Pretty unique wine from a rather less-well-know grape composition of Armenian kakhet & haghtanak grapes, which are claimed to be most similar to Grenache and Cabernet Sauvignon respectively. Light and easy to drink. My list of really good Armenian wines is growing :). — 7 years ago
Well balanced Pinot. Fruity and floral. — 7 years ago
Light wine. Fruity but not really complete. Decent but not outstanding. Tasted somewhat generic. — 7 years ago
Even for someone who doesn't like sweet wines this wine is really good. Tastes of lychee and rose were pronounced. Light on the pallet and refreshing. — 7 years ago
Really like this wine. The blend makes it more subtle and well rounded. Still the Sangiovese taste comes out distinctly - fruity, acidic and tannic. — 8 years ago
Totally drinkable but lacks the crispness and balance of Cloudy Bay. — 7 years ago
An all right meaty wine. Strong on the palate with tastes of darker fruits. The finish wasn’t very pleasant though and subsequent glasses tasted worse than the initial one. Still a decent drink. — 7 years ago
Very sour and tannic. A bit of a shock initially but the wine wins you over with time. I'm guessing that more decanting would've helped, too. Fine wine overall, though there are other Armenian wines that I like better. — 7 years ago
Ara Hayrapetyan
Meh - didn’t like it at all. I didn’t realize this was an organic wine when I got this and I regret. All organic wines have the same bitter unpleasant taste it seems. — 7 years ago
