Jaume Serra (Garcia Carrion)
Cristalino Traditional Method Brut Macabeo-Xarel-lo-Parellada
Blend of 50% Macabeo, 35% Parellada and 15% Xarel-lo, pale lemon with aromas of stone and citrus fruit with a mineral tang, light bubbles and mousse. On the palate flavors of apple and citrus with slight biscuit notes, medium finish ending with a toasty citrus mineral character.

Jan 25th, 2022This is a review of the 187ml bottle. First sip: recently used pink erasers. Just on the edge of vinegar. Second sip: doesn't suck, but the aftertaste is like that of cheap pear-flavored candy. Funny enough, this is the first wine I have brought home that my husband didn't immediately taste Sharpie marker from! 😂 He tastes yeast at the bottom of the little bottle. No vintage date, just lots of stamped batch codes. I wouldn't refuse it at a party, but I look forward to finding superior champagne-style value offerings!
