Medium purple; medium intensity aromas of blackberry, cassis, red currant, red plum, tobacco, violets, earth, funky mineral; dry, medium acid, medium plus tannins, medium alcohol, medium plus body, medium intensity flavors of blackberry, black plum, black and red currant, tobacco, chaperral; medium plus finish, concentrated and complex, very interesting

Excellent wine. Probably my first stateside mondeuse. Great nose with palate coating red fruit, tannins, stone, currant jam. Great food wine.
