Jacques Puffeney
Cuvée du Jubilé Arbois Poulsard Trousseau
This was a journey. Started off thin and watery. Took 45 minutes and then became very aromatic in a tertiary way. The nose was gorgeous for a while and palate got opulent but remained lithe. Then it finished off thin and watery but there was a good window. The score is for when it was drinkable. It was for maybe 40 minutes. Very cool to taste. Given to my friend by Puffeney for his 40th birthday.

Half transparant, a bit strange colour, tuilé, Italian tileroofs, but not bright, cloudy. The smell is awesome: roses, tobacco, lakritz, and after aeration in the glass also minerals, plums, a hint of cherries. The taste is licht but frivolous. Love this. Drank it four years ago, this bottle has aged and it seems to gain in attractiveness. ❤️ 💥 | Paired with toast and mushrooms, farmers Gouda cheese afterwards
