Very light bodied and alizarin in color. Gentle touches of strawberry, pepper and rosemary on the nose. Starts crisp and fresh, with cranberry and strawberry noted that pair well with balanced lemon laced acidity. Astringency and soft herbal notes come in at mid palate, and the finish brings in steely granite mineral notes. A very fun Jura red. Could have a little more layering through mid, but still fun to try.

Lovely. Elegant and balanced; thyme, spring raspberries, granite/wet river rock with structuring, but not mouth frying tannins. A nice vintage from the pope.

Puff daddy. Benefited from some time in the decanter, then light, structured, and full of pure red fruit. Needs food to fill out the mid palate, but with food - killer.
