Just what you want from a Cornas. Dark fruit, plum and black cherry, savory notes, and some thyme and maybe also lilac. Fresh and still quite fruit forward for a 10 year old wine. Well made and very enjoyable.

In a great spot. Big olives on the nose. Blackberry. Granite. Floral. Dark. So lovely. Palate is lively and fresh with terrific acidity and balance. Such lovely purity. Very juicy with loads of fruit but also so lively and lipsmackjng. Elegant tannins and great length. Nice complexity and stoniness on the finish.

Palate is complex and deep with a silken structure, outstanding purity and freshness and lingering taste of blueberries. Terrified. Needs 45 minutes to get going.

Nice wine but wish I’d tried it a few years earlier. Still has nice dark briny fruit and some good acid. Tannins barely register. In general just lacking a bit of oomph compared to what I’d expect.

Aug 27th, 2025Very nice Cornas and frankly a crazy value from Fass selections. That said I’m okay that I didn’t buy a case - this is quite ready to go. Still get some good olive on the nose. Wonderful mouthfeel with only dark fruit, earth, etc. Finish could use a bit more acid for my taste but this is still very nice - and a great pairing with the annual homemade cassoulet.
